Joy Morrissey| Chair of the Board
Joy Morrissey was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board (ACRB) by the Atlanta Planning Advisory Board (APAB) on May 24, 2007 for a one (1) year term representing NPU's 'A' through 'F.' APAB reappointed her, July 19, 2008 for a three (3) year term. On February 12, 2009, Ms. Morrissey was elected Board Secretary succeeding Roderick Edmond. <more>
Seth Kirschenbaum Esq. | Vice Chair
Seth D. Kirschenbaum, Esq. was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by the Atlanta Bar Association in June, 2007 for a three (3) year term. After joining the board, Mr. Kirschenbaum was elected Vice Chair. His extensive law background and experience has enabled him to play a major role as the Board began to organize and establish rules and procedures and draft By-Laws. <more>

Charis L. Johnson was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by the Gate City Bar Association in 2007 for a two (2) year term. <more>
J.L.Booker Retired Major J.L. Booker was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by Lisa M. Borders, President of the Atlanta City Council on May 21, 2007 for a three (3) year term. <more>
Roderick E. Edmond, M.D., J.D.
Roderick E. Edmond, M.D., J.D., was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by the City Council in 2007 for a two (2) year term. After joining the Board, he was elected Board Secretary. On February 12, 2009, Mr. Edmond was elected Chair of the Board succeeding Sharese Shields.<more>

Alan H. Morris was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by the League of Women Voters of Atlanta-Fulton County April 30, 2009 for a three-year term.The City Council confirmed his appointment July 30, 2009. <more>

Owen Montague
Owen Montague was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. During his sophomore year at LaSalle, he travelled to Fribourg, Switzerland as an exchange student to continue studying Clinical Psychology and French at the University of Fribourg. In 1973, Mr. Montague received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Graduate School. <more>
Sharese Shields
Sharese Shields was appointed to the Atlanta Citizen Review Board by Mayor Shirley Franklin on May 21, 2007 for a one year term. During this time, board members elected her as Chair. Ms. Shields played an integral role in organizing the newly created Board. Under her leadership, the Board prepared written bylaws and complaint procedures and secured furnishings, equipment and office space. <more>
Maceo C. Williams, Sr.

Cristina Beamud | Executive Director
Cristina Beamud was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and joined the Rochester Police Department in 1976 as one of a group of five women patrol officers. While a police officer, she worked patrol, criminal investigations and internal investigations. <more>
Sheena Robertson
Sheena Robertson was born and raised in New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the City University of New York at Queens College and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Hofstra University School of Law. <more>
Myola Smith
Myola Smith has been employed with the City of Atlanta for over six years in the Executive Office. While providing Administrative Support to the Deputy Chief of Staff and later becoming the Mayor’s Scheduling Coordinator, she was also asked by the Administration to serve as a liaison between Atlanta Citizen Review Board and the various departments within City government. <more>
Marc Addington
Mr. Addington has over nine years of significant experience as an Investigator.He spent several years as an Investigator with a municipal police department and as a District Attorney Investigator at one of the largest judicial circuits in the Southeast. In 2006, Mr. Addington worked as a Fraud Investigator with a regional financial institution where he was responsible for managing both internal and external fraud investigations. <more> |
